USE CHIROPRACTIC TO IMPROVE YOUR GOLF GAME

Jordan Spieth, Masters and US Open Champion uses chiropractic regularly.

21 year old golf sensation, Jordan Spieth, recently commented on how his chiropractor has significantly contributed to his recent victories. Since age 14, Spieth has relied upon chiropractic care to prevent injuries as well as optimize overall health and athletic performance. 4 of 5 golfers experience back pain as a result of repetitive swinging. Many athletes and especially golfers understand the significance of spinal and pelvic motion to functional performance.
The majority of golfers have very tight hips and low backs. Most have office jobs and sit 6-8 hours/day, 5 days a week. This freezes up the low back. Then they hit the golf course and depending on how good you are you, take 503-902-4269 swings over 18 holes. This isn’t including warm up swings. The repetitive twisting motion can wreak havoc on the low back as it is not a common every day movement. It’s like taking a frozen piece of meat out of the freezer, throwing it in the microwave and expecting it to turn out well.
The golf swing puts stress on the joints and discs often causing the low back to go into a “spasm.” Doctors of Chiropractic (DC) are well equipped to treat low back pain from golfing. Chiropractors help improve low back range of motion, remove stress from the joints and discs. It’s better to have preventative treatment like Jordan Spieth. Yet, it’s never too late to start.
